Frequently asked questions

Purchasing a home is often the largest investment you’ll make in your lifetime. In a competitive market like Seattle and surrounding areas, the homebuying process can be complex. Our seminars are designed to equip you with the knowledge and tools needed to navigate the journey to homeownership successfully.

Our Washington Homebuyer Seminar is five hours. This is required by the Washington State Housing Finance Commission for us to issue certificates for down payment assistance.

All our seminars are currently held live via Zoom, offering plenty of opportunities to ask questions during and after the session.

We’re also considering adding in-person seminars to our schedule. If you’re interested in attending, feel free to reach out at hello@livinginseattlepnw.com or (206) 300-7409 to let us know.

It’s important for everyone involved in signing the contracts to participate in this seminar. If you’re buying a home with your spouse or partner, we suggest that both of you join us.

Nope! This is not a sales pitch. We believe in home ownership and our instructors donate their time to deliver this education. Of course, if you like what you hear, you are welcome to hire your instructors to help you navigate the homebuying process.

We know that unexpected events can sometimes prevent you from attending a class after registering. If that happens, just let us know, and we’ll gladly help you reschedule for a future seminar.

In the event that a seminar doesn’t reach the required number of attendees, or if an unexpected issue like illness or an emergency occurs, we may need to postpone. If this happens, we’ll contact you directly to arrange a new date for the session.
